Royal Stuart Rattery specialises in Teddy Rex, Rex and Double Rex Rats.
The First Rex born here in March 2003
We are the breeders of the first confirmed teddy rex, rex and double rex rats in Australia and are working on the new breed called the racoon at present.
We do not breed to meet the needs of anyone and we do not sell to who we don't think is able to care for our animals properally.

Shipping and Handling

We rehome our rats at 8 weeks of age and if  the perspective owner lives in another state or overseas and I feel that I wish to ship the animals I will do so when I feel that the animals are ready physically and mentally to be shipped to the perspective owner.

All our rats are placed on no-breeding contract, the exception requires  owners  prior approval and pedigrees are only issued with breeding animals.

Rats are FREE to overseas buyers with the exception of shipping costs.

For National buyers however cost will depend on the price of each rat and the shipping fees.

Returns

Customers often ask what our return policy is. We aim for complete customer satisfaction. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, we want to hear about it. Let us know if something is wrong and we will do what we can to make it right.

Please note if ever you choose that you do not want your rat/rats or you cannot give them the adiquit care please do not hesitate to contact me as I will not hesitate to take them back rather than have them dumped somewhere. I only ask that you surrender the cage that the rat/rats are living in as it is better to find your rat/rats new homes if they come with housing.
 
 
 
What do you get with every rat you purchase from us?
If the perspective owner wishes to pay the $15 for the birth certificate that will be containing the rats date of birth, parents names and markings and the rats eye colour, coat type and markings, then so be it.
You will  receive a copy of the non-breeding contract which you would have had to sign before you received you rat unless you have had Royal Stuart Ratteries prior approval to breed the rats or live overseas.

We do have cinnamons, minks and buffs available on occasions.
